Minutes of the Meeting held with the CFS Operators and Vessel Operators at the room of Deputy Terminal Manager, KoPT on 29th October 2009 at 1230 hrs to finalise the programme for removal of import containers to the CFSs direct ex hook point of the nominated vessels.

Sri Gupta welcomed the representatives and stated that as per previous programme, containers (excluding Nepal, Bhutan & reefer) of New Blessing were removed to the CFSs of Balmer Lawrie. Containers (excluding Nepal, Bhutan & reefer) of MV MCP Bilbao (ETA 30/10/09) would be removed to BL CFS w e f 30/10/09. He informed the representatives that the inventory position of import containers had improved but there had been further scope of improvement. Accordingly, the programme of direct removal of containers from some of the vessels to the CFSs would continue subject to availability of space at the CFSs. The CFSs were requested to pay port wharfage on the basis of cargo in container so that the Importers did not have to pay additional amount to the Port. The CFSs were asked to state their current inventory, backlog and spare capacity etc. and the following position emerged.

Sri Gupta mentioned that containers (excluding Nepal, Bhutan and reefer) of the following vessels were being planned for direct removal ex hook to CFSs. He asked the CFS Operators to indicate their respective plans.
- MV Beluga Mobilisation, ETA 31/10/09, 282x20’ & 195x40’ including Nepal, Bhutan & reefer.
- MV Major, ETA 30/10/09, 150x20 & 70x40’excluding Nepal, Bhutan & reefer.
It was decided after discussion that CWC CFS would arrange to remove all the import containers (excluding Nepal, Bhutan & reefer) to their CFS from MV Beluga Mobilisation. Sri Biswas indicated that he would arrange to mobilize sufficient number of trailers to ensure round the clock uninterrupted operation.
It was also decided that Century Ply CFS would arrange to remove all the import containers (excluding Nepal, Bhutan & reefer) from hook point of MV Major (ETA 30/10/09). Sri Singh indicated that he would arrange to mobilize sufficient number of trailers to ensure round the clock uninterrupted operation.
